A military council patrol vehicle was targeted in a mine attack in Sagaing City, Sagaing Region, with potential casualties among council forces, according to a representative from the Lin Yone Brothers Guerrilla Force. The incident occurred on March 21 at 9:20 PM when military council members from Shwe Min Wun, Padamyar, and Nila Oo wards were patrolling the Sagaing-Monywa-Shwebo road in a vehicle. The attack took place near the Swun Chauk monastery school.
The explosion hit the front portion of the military vehicle, which was carrying approximately 5 to 6 military council personnel who may have been injured or killed in the attack. Following the initial explosion, two additional military council vehicles arrived at the scene. The force of the blast was significant enough to leave the vehicle’s engine cover at the site of the explosion. The operation was carried out by members of the Lin Yone Brothers Guerrilla Force, and all People’s Defense Force members successfully withdrew from the area without casualties.

The resistance forces have stated their commitment to continuing their defensive operations to protect civilians from the military council’s ongoing campaign of violence and oppression in the region.
