
A military council outpost in Ngar Shan village, Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region, was attacked by resistance forces using drones, resulting in military casualties, according to a spokesperson from the Peacock Drone Team Myaung. The attack took place around 3:30 PM on May 29, targeting military council troops who had established a checkpoint within Ngar Shan village.
During the attack, bombs directly hit and exploded inside the outpost, causing casualties among military council troops, though the exact number of casualties could not be immediately confirmed. Female Pyu Saw Htee members who were stationed at the checkpoint fled in fear towards Monywa city in vehicles with metal plating for protection. Following the attack, military council troops from their base in Chaung-U town responded by conducting indiscriminate artillery strikes in the area, according to local residents.
The operation was carried out through coordination among multiple revolutionary forces, including the PEACOCK Drone Team, Yinmabin District Battalion 35 Sub-unit 2 GZ-21, Yinmabin District Battalion 17 B-21 Kani PDF, NPDF Yinmabin, M.D.F drone Kyar Kin Sein, Arman Thit (Ngar Zone), Revolutionary Air Force (Myaung), Aung Thar Pyay Nyinaung Local PDF (Kyaukse), Bo Saklay Drone Strike (Village Combined Forces Myaung), Freedom Fighter Drone Force F.F.D.F, Farmer Revolution Force (FRF) Monywa District No. 8, Yay Nakar People’s Defense Force (Lin Yun Gyi), and Hawk Guerrilla Force. The resistance forces successfully withdrew from the operation without sustaining any casualties.
