
Military sources have confirmed that an officer and Corporal Zeyar Phyo from Military Field Medical Battalion No. 4 were killed during battles in Laymyethna Township, Ayeyarwady Region. Corporal Zeyar Phyo, aged 38, died in the afternoon of July 16, and his body was cremated at the Shwe Myint Tin crematorium. His remains were transported in a convoy of five vehicles including hearses, private cars, and military vehicles. The following day, on July 17 at 3:30 PM, a military officer also died, and his body was similarly cremated at the Shwe Myint Tin facility.
Soldiers injured in the battle continue to be transported to Field Medical Battalion No. 4, with those in more serious condition being transferred to Mingaladon Military Hospital.
