A spokesperson from the Myaung Drone Force (MDF) has confirmed that military council forces suffered casualties following a drone attack near Anim village in Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region. The attack occurred in the afternoon of May 17, when resistance forces launched an offensive using six Fixed Wing drones against approximately 200 military council troops who were advancing toward Anim village.
While the exact number of casualties among the military council forces could not be confirmed, the resistance forces successfully executed the attack and withdrew without suffering any casualties, despite retaliatory heavy weapons fire from the military council troops. According to the MDF spokesperson, a precise casualty count could not be determined as the military council forces prevented local civilians from leaving their homes following the drone attack.
The operation was carried out through a coordinated effort between the Myaung Drone Force M.D.F Kyar Khin Sein unit and several allied forces, including MGN Tiger, Peacock Drone Team (Myaung), Arman Thit (Ngazun), Revolutionary Air Force (Myaung), Aung Thabyay Nyinaung Local PDF, Bo Sagalay Drone Strike, Freedom Fighter Drone Force, and the Amethwae Guerrilla Force. Additionally, the Myaung Drone Force MDF has called for public support for their ‘Victory to Anyar Land’ campaign, which aims to raise 3,000 lakhs (300 million) kyats to continue their resistance operations against the military council.
