
A representative from the Bo Karing Force has confirmed that military council troops suffered casualties following a mine attack on their convoy in Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region. The incident occurred around 11:10 AM on August 4th, when resistance forces targeted a military convoy of eight vehicles traveling from Myeik to Tanintharyi near the bridge at Ran Pho village. During the attack, one military vehicle was hit, and although military council troops who were hiding nearby returned fire with small arms, the resistance forces were able to withdraw successfully without any casualties.
Additionally, resistance forces successfully attacked military council troops and Pyu Saw Htee members stationed in Pinhtaung Pyu Saw Htee village in Pauk Township, Magway Region, according to a representative from the Rocket Fighter group. The attack, which took place on the morning of July 16th, targeted approximately 100 military council troops and Pyu Saw Htee members using both heavy weapons and small arms. The resistance forces fired about thirty rounds of heavy artillery in addition to small arms fire during the engagement. While casualties were reported on the military council’s side, exact numbers could not be confirmed at the time of reporting, according to officials.
