
A military convoy of the terrorist military council was attacked with mines on the Pathein-Monywa road in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, resulting in the death of 4 military council soldiers, according to an official from the Yinmabin Township Me Myaung People’s Defense Force. The attack occurred on June 19, targeting a military convoy from Battalion 28, Agyeikan Kon, and Yamsi Wapaung of the terrorist military forces in Yinmabin Township.
The revolutionary forces conducted the mine attack near North Yamar Creek, which killed 4 military council soldiers and severely wounded another. Following the attack, revolutionary forces carried out area clearance operations and managed to seize some damaged military equipment. The Me Myaung People’s Defense Force reported that they continue to conduct effective operations against the military council forces in the area.
An official from the Me Myaung People’s Defense Force stated that they need more weapons and ammunition to continue effective operations against the military council, and appealed to the public to contribute in whatever way possible. They emphasized their commitment to completely eliminating the military dictatorship system and are working with all available resources. Additionally, they called for support from Myanmar people abroad and those who oppose the military dictatorship to help with mine production and procurement of weapons and ammunition for their continued resistance efforts.
