The engagement lasted approximately 15 minutes with exchanges of fire between both sides.
Following the attack, two ambulances were seen entering the military council’s Infantry Battalion 39 compound. The revolutionary forces successfully withdrew from the area without suffering any casualties.
Local residents have been warned to exercise caution when traveling along the Taungoo-Leiktho and Taungoo-Thandaunggyi road sections due to the presence of military council outposts and ongoing military operations in the area. The military council has intensified its military activities in the region and continues to pose threats to local civilians. The Kyiku Column has emphasized the importance of civilian awareness and careful movement in these areas due to the increased military presence and activities.
