Additionally, the military council carried out airstrikes in the border area between Pauk and Myaing Townships in Magway Region. A single fighter jet conducted the attack at around 9:40 AM, with bombs striking forested areas. Although no civilian casualties were reported, local residents have been forced to flee to safer locations due to fears of subsequent airstrikes. The attacks occurred without any prior military engagement in the area, causing widespread displacement of civilian populations who are concerned about potential follow-up strikes.
In Thaungtha Township, the military council deployed a helicopter to conduct eight separate bombing runs near Yonesi Gyi village. The aircraft, which departed from Meiktila Air Base, carried out attacks between 6 AM and 7 AM. Currently, military council troops have established positions around Yonesi Gyi village, forcing local residents to evacuate to safer areas. The extent of casualties from these attacks remains unconfirmed at present. Local sources report that civilians continue to flee the area due to the military presence and the ongoing threat of further airstrikes, highlighting the deteriorating security situation in the region.
