
A military supply convoy was attacked in Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region, resulting in military casualties, according to a responsible official from the Bogyoke Ranger Force. The attack occurred around 11:15 AM on August 25, when resistance forces targeted a military convoy of six supply vehicles traveling from Myeik to Tanintharyi town with two mines near Ram Pho village at Palm Oil Hill.
The attack led to a 20-minute firefight as soldiers from both the convoy and security checkpoints returned fire. While there were confirmed casualties on the military side, the exact number could not be verified. The operation was jointly carried out by the Myeik PDF, Tanintharyi Yoma Zone 3, and the Bogyoke Ranger Force. All resistance fighters successfully withdrew from the area without any casualties.
Simultaneously, another attack took place in Ye-U Township, Sagaing Region. At approximately 6:40 AM, the Wolf Guerrilla LDF Ye-U Air Force attacked a military column of about 30 soldiers with two mines as they were advancing from Ye-U town toward Ywa Thala village. While the attack resulted in military casualties, the exact numbers could not be confirmed. The resistance forces were able to retreat safely without any injuries.
Despite severe shortages of weapons and ammunition, resistance forces have declared their commitment to continue fighting until the complete elimination of the military dictatorship. A spokesperson from the Wolf Guerrilla LPDF Ye-U Air Force has appealed to the public for whatever support they can provide to sustain ground operations in their ongoing struggle against the military regime.
