The military forces began their raid on Bisapkone village on March 17, systematically looting civilian properties and transporting them to Mingya Pyusawthi village using trucks. Following the looting, they proceeded to deliberately burn down houses in the village. The Bisapkone village, located in the river island area, has been subjected to continuous military attacks, resulting in substantial losses of civilian lives and property. Local residents have reported that the military’s actions have caused widespread destruction and displacement within the community.
Additionally, a military vessel traveling upstream from Pakokku arrived at Pauktaw port this morning, raising concerns among local residents about potential further military operations in the area. The military continues to carry out acts of violence against civilians in the region, causing fear and anxiety among the local population. Reports indicate that the military is systematically engaging in looting civilian properties and burning houses, forcing many residents to flee their homes and seek safety elsewhere.
