On March 11, military aircraft conducted bombing raids on and around the villages of Myosoe Kone, Boe Kone, Myaung Thit Kone, and Kyauk Tatar. The attacks caused widespread destruction of civilian houses in Kyauk Tatar and Boe Kone villages, with residents forced to flee to safety, making it impossible to confirm the full extent of the damage at this time.
On March 13, around 6:00 AM, the military forces launched indiscriminate artillery attacks near Thanpin Kone village in Myingyan Township, followed by an airstrike using a fighter jet at approximately 7:40 AM. According to the Voice Of Mandalay representative, airstrikes and artillery attacks have become nearly daily occurrences, forcing local residents to remain displaced from their homes. The ongoing military operations have created a persistent state of insecurity in the region, with civilians continuously seeking refuge from the attacks.
In Sagaing Region’s Mingin Township, the military conducted an unprovoked helicopter attack on Zin Kale village, as confirmed by the Monywa District Battalion 3, Unit 2 Mahauurar Dragon PDF. The attack occurred on March 13, though the extent of civilian casualties remains unconfirmed. Additionally, in Ye-U Township of Sagaing Region, the military carried out an unprovoked airstrike using fighter jets on a monastery in Aung Thuka village around 1:15 PM on March 11. While no civilian casualties were reported in this incident, the Ye-U Township People’s Defense Force confirmed that the monastery buildings sustained significant damage. These attacks demonstrate a pattern of military aggression against civilian targets, including religious structures, without any military engagement or provocation from resistance forces.
