On June 7, local residents in the Letpadaung region of Salingyi Township, Sagaing Division, conducted a public demonstration calling for the ratification of Article 33 of the International Labour Organization (ILO) to save lives. The movement was led by the Letpadaung Region Public Strike Group with active participation from local residents.
