The KIA military sources confirmed that they also successfully attacked and completely destroyed a Mi-17 helicopter that made an emergency landing at Infantry Battalion 56 in Shwegu Township. These attacks demonstrate effective resistance against military council operations in the region.
In Bago Region’s Pyay District, revolutionary forces successfully captured the military council’s Oak Put outpost and the Theinkone Tower camp in Paungde Township. This was confirmed by an official from the People’s Defense Force’s Southern Command, Military Sub-Region 2, Bago Division Command, Strategy 21 Pyay District Battalion 3602. This victory demonstrates the increasing military capabilities of revolutionary forces in the region.
In Mandalay Region, revolutionary forces conducted an interceptive attack on a military council column that departed from Nyaung-U town, resulting in the death of 5 military council soldiers. This battle demonstrates the revolutionary forces’ growing capability to systematically ambush mobile military council columns. During these engagements, revolutionary forces also seized weapons, ammunition, and military equipment from the military council troops.
