
The Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and People’s Defense Force (PDF) jointly attacked the military council’s Pu Lu Tu outpost in the Thai-Myanmar border area of Karen State, resulting in the death of 12 military council soldiers, according to an official announcement from the Karen National Union (KNU). During the battle, weapons and ammunition were seized, while 11 soldiers fled to the Thai side of the border. This battle has significantly impacted the military council’s control in the border region and demonstrated the military capabilities of revolutionary forces.
In Aunglan Township, Magway Region, revolutionary joint forces intercepted and attacked military council troops from KaPaSa 15 who were conducting patrol operations, resulting in the death of three military council soldiers. The military council troops hastily evacuated their dead and wounded, leaving behind some ammunition, as confirmed by an official from PDF Battalion 902’s Taungdwingyi unit. This engagement demonstrates the effective response to military council operations in the region.
