
MAGWAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta forces conducting raids in Pauk Township were reported to have torched the houses near Yaypyar Village and looted items belonging to the civilians.
The terrorist junta forces that committed those atrocities were part of the column that came out of Industry 2 in Myaing Township on February 8.
They reportedly looted and stole the items belonging to the civilians and had entered the Pyu Saw Htee base at Kokkosu Village in Pauk Township at the time of reporting.
Moreover, thousands of civilians are said to be fleeing to escape the junta raids and thus the extent of damages to homes and civilian casualties is not yet confirmed.
“The column of junta dogs (junta forces) that came into Myaing with the rations were stationed in Industry 2 and now raided Pauk Township. It is said that they torched the houses near Yaypyar Village today (February 8). They also looted from the houses and reportedly entered Kokkosu Village, a Pyu Saw Htee base, at around 6:30 p.m. We don’t know yet the extent of damages to houses and if there were any civilian casualties,” said a resident.
The revolutionary forces in the region has alerted the people to stay vigilant as that terrorist junta column could return to Myaing Township.
