MYANMAR – Mr. Tin Aung Win from Thamine Myothit Ward 1 in Mayangon Township who was forcibly recruited by the junta council during the first batch of military service was killed during the battles in Hsihseng but the junta council didn’t inform his family, reported local news sources.
The 32 year old was abducted at his house by the junta appointed administration officer and Pyu Saw Htee thugs then forcibly conscripted in April, 2024 after the administration officer claimed that he had been selected for military service.
Following that, the terrorist junta council sent him to three months of military training then deployed him to the frontlines. Eventually, Mr. Tin Aung Win was killed in battle in Hsihseng on January 4.
However, the junta council did not inform the family of his death and the family only found out after his acquaintances contacted them. In addition, although Mr. Tin Aung Win was killed in the frontlines, the family reportedly did not receive any form of compensation from the junta council.
“Tin Aung Win (aka) Ah Phoe Gyi who was part of the first batch of conscription from Mayangon Thamine Myothit Ward 1 fell in battle but the terrorist junta council did not inform the family. He reportedly died on the fourth. His family only found out from his acquaintances. The junta army did not give them any compensation either. He was abducted at his home by Pyu Saw Htee thugs and the administration team around April 2024 after being told that he had been picked for military service,” said a local source.
The terrorist junta council has been continuously deploying the conscripted fresh recruits to the frontlines but would not inform the family of their demise and refuse to pay any form of compensation to the surviving family.
