SAGAING DIVISION – The joint forces of junta soldiers and their subordinate Pyu Saw Htee militants that came out of the Pyu Saw Htee base in Tawpu Village, Monywa Township were attacked with two points of mines near the Monywa-Chaung U Road around 8:30 a.m. on February 9, announced Monywa District Battalion 11 under the Ministry of Defence, National Unity Government.
Four junta soldiers were reportedly killed in the attack and many were injured and sent to the military hospital.
The defence force advised the people using the Monywa-Chaung U Road to steer clear of junta council convoys and to stop travelling when there are battles.
