MON STATE – Locals reported that the junta council and Pyu Saw Htee forces allowed large gambling operations with daily transactions in hundreds of millions in Htanpinchaung Village of Paung Township, guaranteeing that there will be no arrest.
It is said that the junta and Pyu Saw Htee forces started running gambling rings in January to earn money and also permitted the sale of alcohol and drugs in those gambling dens.
The gambling rings will be reportedly opened for exactly a month and although the residents wish to report it to revolutionary forces, they are scared of getting abducted and murdered by junta and Pyu Saw Htee forces if they were found out.
In addition, the terrorist junta forces were also reported to have noted down the data of people visiting the gambling rings as well as young people from nearby villages.
“The gambling rings have been operating in Htanpinchaung Village, Paung Township for around a month without anyone taking action. The operations are led by the junta and Pyu dogs (junta and Pyu Saw Htee forces). They will reportedly be opened for exactly a month,” said a resident.
The junta council is said to have told the village administration teams to advertise the gambling rings and reportedly said that they will allow any debaucheries from drugs, gambling to prostitution as their main goal is to keep the interest of the civilians away from the revolution.
