This military buildup comes in response to increasing casualties suffered by military council forces from attacks by revolutionary groups, according to statements from the Bamar Army. The military vehicle that was attacked was carrying approximately 20 soldiers and was part of a reinforcement mission from Salin to Sinphyukyun.
Currently, daily clashes continue throughout Salin Township, with revolutionary forces consistently engaging military council columns.
