On March 16th in the afternoon, the Bamar Army intercepted and attacked an armored military vehicle traveling from Salin to Sinphyukyun town, resulting in one soldier’s death. In the attack, one soldier was killed by a headshot, another sustained injuries to his arm, and several other soldiers were wounded, according to confirmation from the revolutionary forces.
The military council has been attempting to expand its military presence in Salin Township, with increased military operations throughout March. These operations involve tanks, armored vehicles, Mi-35 helicopters, naval vessels, and infantry units. While the military council is conducting joint army, navy, and air force operations, they continue to suffer casualties due to resistance from revolutionary forces. The military council’s reinforcement attempts come as they face mounting losses from daily attacks by revolutionary forces in the area.
