The fighting has forced over 1,000 civilians from villages including Mual Pi, Vomsem, Thei Zamg, and Hiangzing to flee their homes. Revolutionary forces have issued statements calling for assistance for these internally displaced persons. In related fighting between Khaing Kam village and Mon Pir village in the Siyin region, one revolutionary fighter has been reported killed in action. The revolutionary forces continue to defend local civilians to the best of their ability and have called for public support in whatever way possible.
