Following the earthquake in Sagaing Region, the military council has announced that university entrance examinations will be held again starting June 16 in Mandalay, Sagaing, Kachin State, and Naypyidaw, claiming that exam answer sheets were damaged in the earthquake. Additionally, it has been reported that during the Thingyan festival period, military council troops forcibly detained 47 young people from Thayarwaddy Township in Bago Region to serve as porters. The military council continues to commit acts of violence and oppression against civilians, with mounting evidence of ongoing war crimes being documented across the country.
