
Revolutionary news sources have confirmed that five civilians were killed and many others were injured when the terrorist military council forces conducted an airstrike on Chajin Hospital near Three Fork Village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region. The attack was carried out by fighter jets from Tada-U Air Base at approximately 10:30 PM on July 29. Sources indicated that this was a deliberate targeting of a civilian medical facility.
Local revolutionary organizations have issued warnings for residents to exercise extreme caution as the terrorist military council regularly targets civilian areas, including villages, hospitals, and schools. In a similar incident, the Karen National Union (KNU) confirmed that an airstrike on Letpanpyin Village in Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region, at 2 PM on July 26 resulted in one civilian death, three injuries, and the destruction of a Christian community hall.
In the Letpanpyin Village attack, Saw Kyaw Lin (also known as Saw Doe Kho), age 32, was killed, while Naw Nyoe Nyoe, age 30, Saw Bo San Back, age 7, and Naw Su Thein Aung, age 4, sustained injuries. Local residents report that these ongoing attacks on civilian areas and public infrastructure continue to devastate daily life and increase fear among the population. The military council’s persistent targeting of civilian infrastructure has created an atmosphere of constant anxiety and disruption in affected communities.
