In the frontline area of Karen National Union (KNU) Brigade 6 territory in Karen State, a celebration marking the birthday of State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was held, led by Column Commander Saw Win Myint of the 32nd Strategic Binon Column and Ko Ye Min from the Southern Support Unit, along with revolutionary comrades and support team members.
During the ceremony, the revolutionary forces and support team members celebrated Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s 80th birthday by cutting cake and singing birthday songs. Additionally, Myanmar nationals residing in Thailand donated 800 bottles of drinking water to the frontline fighters through Ko Ye Min.
The ability to hold Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s birthday celebration on the frontlines demonstrates the revolutionary forces’ morale and unity, indicating their continued commitment to the people’s revolution against the military dictatorship. Furthermore, Myanmar citizens abroad are actively supporting the revolutionary efforts through various means of assistance.
