
On May 30, the Daung Thwe Ni (Red Hawk Blood) strike column led a protest against the military dictatorship in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region. The protesters marched through the city streets carrying martyrs’ flags and anti-military dictatorship banners. The Daung Thwe Ni strike column has been actively participating in anti-military dictatorship movements, working to overthrow the military regime through people’s power and resistance.
The protesters expressed their opposition to the oppression, human rights violations, and arbitrary arrests that civilians are suffering under military rule. The military coup has resulted in the loss of people’s security, economic opportunities, education, and healthcare access, while civilians continue to face daily hardships under the violent military council’s oppression. Through this protest, the Daung Thwe Ni strike column demonstrated their commitment to continue fighting against the military dictatorship in unity with public forces.
