The Daung Thwe Ni Strike Column conducted a peaceful protest march against the military dictatorship in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, on April 25, 2025. The protesters raised their voices demanding the end of military dictatorship and the restoration of democracy, while advocating for the return of people’s rights and freedoms.
Demonstrators carried signs showing support for the National Unity Government (NUG) and People’s Defense Forces during the protest. They aimed to bring international attention to the oppression, human rights violations, and economic hardships that civilians are enduring under military rule.
The Daung Thwe Ni Strike Column has been actively participating in the people’s revolution since the military coup in 2021. They continue to engage in non-violent peaceful protests and remain committed to the struggle for the complete elimination of the military dictatorship system.
