
The Daung Thwe Ni (Red Peacock Blood) Strike Column conducted a peaceful protest march against the military dictatorship in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, on April 2. The protest column has been working in coordination with People’s Defense Forces fighting for democracy and human rights, aiming to completely end the military dictatorship system.
Protesters carried signs showing support for the National Unity Government (NUG) and People’s Defense Forces during the demonstration. They raised their voices to make the world aware of the oppression, human rights violations, and economic hardships that civilians are enduring under the military dictatorship.
The Daung Thwe Ni Strike Column plays a crucial role in the revolutionary movements across Myanmar and systematically organizes anti-military dictatorship activities. The protesters demanded an end to the military council’s violence against civilians and called for the restoration of democracy. The demonstration highlighted the ongoing resistance against military rule and the people’s determination to restore civilian governance in Myanmar.
