On June 3, military council troops and Pyu Saw Htee members launched drone attacks on Hnawkun village, Paukkun village, and Nyopinlae village in the Chapayin township area, according to reports.
While there have been civilian casualties from the military council’s bombing attacks, the exact number of casualties cannot yet be confirmed. In the afternoon of the same day, clashes broke out between military council forces and resistance forces near Hnawkun village, resulting in casualties on the military council’s side, though the exact numbers remain unconfirmed according to local sources.
Additionally, military council forces stationed in Sintaw village near the Koetaungbo township area are conducting military operations, forcing thousands of residents from Kangyi village, Alaykon village, Zawchaung Paukseinkun village, and Missalinkon village to flee to safety, according to local residents. With ongoing military operations by council forces in the area, locals express concern about the potential for further damage and losses.
