
The Thaung Tha Township People’s Movement Committee has confirmed that civilians were injured in military airstrikes near Nyaung Do village in Mandalay Region’s Thaung Tha Township. The attack, which occurred at approximately 11:37 PM on June 23, resulted in the destruction of one residential house and left one man and one child wounded. According to local sources, the condition of those injured is not life-threatening.
Similar aerial attacks were reported in other parts of Mandalay Region. In Sintguu Township, the military conducted an airstrike near farmlands north of Hton Gyi village at 4:20 PM on June 23, resulting in injuries to one woman. Local residents confirmed that her injuries were not severe enough to cause concern for her life.
Additionally, the military carried out an aerial bombardment around Ukkan village in Myit Thar Township at 9:10 PM on June 23, resulting in the death of one civilian woman, according to an announcement by the People’s Defense Force Pyin Oo Lwin District. The Thaung Tha Township People’s Movement Committee has warned local residents to remain particularly vigilant against military air attacks.
