A local resident from Insein Township reported witnessing intense security checks being conducted by military and police forces on Aung Mingalar Don Road around 8:30 PM. The security forces were thoroughly inspecting military vehicles, police vehicles, private cars, and taxis. These security checks continued until approximately 9:00 PM, according to the resident’s detailed account of the situation. The heightened security measures appeared to be a direct response to the attack on the CID office.
The Rangoon Urban Column has emphasized the crucial need for public cooperation in providing ground information to enhance their urban operations.
