
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) office located along Aung Mingalar Don Road in Insein Township, Yangon Region, was attacked with a large remote-controlled mine. According to a spokesperson from the Rangoon Urban Column, several security personnel on guard duty were injured in the attack and had to be transported to the hospital. The incident occurred at 8:00 PM on March 19th.
Following the attack, military council forces implemented strict security measures in the area. Starting from 8:30 PM, they conducted vehicle inspections on Aung Mingalar Don Road using military and police vehicles. According to local residents, the checkpoints continued until 9:00 PM, with thorough inspections of all passing vehicles, including private cars and taxis, being carried out in front of the CID office and near the Red Office area.

The group believes that such public participation will lead to more successful urban operations. They have emphasized the importance of civilian cooperation in gathering intelligence while maintaining their commitment to standing with the people against military oppression.
