
The graduation ceremony for the 6th batch of basic military training conducted by the Chin Defense Force – Asho (CDF-Asho) was successfully held on March 19 at their rear base. The ceremony included several significant events including the oath-taking ceremony for trainees, award presentations for outstanding students, a flag salutation ceremony, and various sporting activities. This training program represents a crucial step in strengthening the capabilities of people’s defense forces fighting for the end of military dictatorship and the establishment of a federal democratic system.
The comprehensive training program covered essential military fundamentals including basic military theory, weapons handling and usage, combat tactics, reconnaissance and intelligence gathering, and survival techniques. The graduation ceremony marked the successful completion of this intensive training period, during which trainees acquired crucial skills necessary for their roles in defending their communities and supporting the broader democratic movement. The event demonstrated the continued commitment of resistance forces to professional military training and organizational development.
During the graduation ceremony, the trainees took solemn oaths pledging to protect their communities, work diligently towards ending the military dictatorship, and maintain unwavering support for the democratic cause. Outstanding trainees who demonstrated exceptional performance during the training period were recognized with special awards, highlighting the program’s emphasis on excellence and dedication. The ceremony concluded with sporting events that showcased the physical fitness and camaraderie developed during the training period. These graduates will now return to their respective regions to serve in various people’s defense roles, applying their newly acquired skills and knowledge in the ongoing struggle for democracy and federal rights in Myanmar.
