
A military column from the Myawaddy Naval Base in Yebyu Township, Tanintharyi Region, was attacked for three consecutive days, resulting in the deaths of one military officer and two soldiers, according to an official from the Dauna Battalion 6 – Southern Yebyu Air Force. On August 25, fighting broke out between revolutionary forces and military troops who were conducting security patrols near the Gan Gaw Mountain Railway Station and U Paing Palm Oil Plantation after they had left the Myawaddy Naval Base headquarters.
On August 26, revolutionary forces conducted drone strikes on military personnel gathered at the U Paing Palm Oil office, resulting in multiple casualties. The injured and deceased were transported back to Myawaddy Naval Base in two vehicles. On August 27, military forces stationed at the U Paing Palm Oil plantation attempted to advance toward Say Ain Su village with approximately 180 troops when they were engaged by combined revolutionary forces. The firefight lasted about 30 minutes from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
During this engagement, the military suffered casualties including one officer and one soldier killed, with three others wounded, according to confirmation from revolutionary forces. The offensive involved coordinated action between multiple resistance groups including Dauna Battalion-6 (Southern Yebyu Air Force), Dauna Battalion-7 (L.P.F), Bathoo Army, Yebyu Township People’s Defense Force, Naga Ni Guerrilla Force, Dawei District People’s Defense Front, and Zin Yaw Force.
Simultaneously, in Magway Region, revolutionary forces attacked the Kamma police station with hand grenades, causing casualties among military personnel stationed there, as confirmed by a Kamma Revolution Force official. The attack occurred around 5 PM on August 30, when resistance fighters launched two hand grenades at the police station occupied by military forces. Although the military responded with heavy weapons fire, the revolutionary forces were able to withdraw without casualties. Following the attack, military forces conducted patrols throughout Kamma town, reportedly threatening local civilians. The coordinated attack was carried out by multiple resistance groups including the Kamma Revolution Force, Three Brother Defence Force-TBDF, and PDF Kamma coalition forces.
