The event was attended by Myanmar citizens residing in Japan, Japanese supporters of Myanmar’s cause, and local residents who gathered to pray for Aung San Suu Kyi’s release. The attendees offered prayers for the long life and swift release of Aung San Suu Kyi, who is currently being unjustly detained by the military council.
During the ceremony, Japanese citizens who support Myanmar’s democratic movement demonstrated their solidarity with the Myanmar people and expressed their continued support for the restoration of democracy in Myanmar. They also voiced their concerns about the Myanmar people suffering under the military council’s oppression.
