The Yesagyo Allied Forces reported that a drone attack on military council troops stationed at the Seitnan Pumping Station in Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, resulted in one soldier’s death. During the attack on May 25, the drone unit of the Yesagyo Allied Forces successfully launched nine bombs at the military council forces. The revolutionary forces were able to withdraw safely without any casualties. The Seitnan Pumping Station has been a significant military council outpost where troops have been stationed and reportedly involved in civilian oppression.
In Dawei, Tanintharyi Region, the Dawei Defense Team (DDT) conducted a mine attack against military council troops who were checking guest registration at an intersection in Einshaeping Ward. The attack occurred on the evening of May 23, targeting military council soldiers who were conducting guest registration checks. While the exact number of military council casualties could not be confirmed, the revolutionary forces successfully retreated without any injuries. A DDT official confirmed that the operation was carried out to disrupt the military council’s civilian surveillance activities.
Regarding the attack in Dawei, a DDT official explained that the mine attack was conducted from a distance with the intention of creating a deterrent effect on the military council forces. It was estimated that approximately twenty military council soldiers were present during the guest registration check operation. These attacks demonstrate the increasing operational capabilities of revolutionary forces in their resistance against the military council’s oppression of civilians. The incidents in both Myingyan and Dawei reflect the ongoing conflict between resistance forces and the military council, as revolutionary groups continue their efforts to challenge the military’s control and protect civilian populations from further oppression.
