Revolutionary forces conducted an attack on military regime administrative facilities in North Dagon Township, Yangon on September 14. Operation Flame and allied forces targeted the Township General Administration Department office and Traffic Police Station No. 6, located near Mawata Junction on Pinlon Road (Collective Office Road), with hand grenades. The attack was carried out around 1:35 AM, targeting administrative mechanisms organizing the military regime’s sham election and the traffic police force that has been unjustly arresting and extorting money from civilians.
The operation was jointly carried out by Operation Flame along with People’s Defense Forces from Kyimyindaing and Latha Townships. While there were reports of potential casualties among military regime personnel, detailed information about the impact is still being investigated. In a statement, Operation Flame declared their complete rejection of the military regime’s fraudulent election and announced their commitment to intensifying attacks against the terrorist military in collaboration with all Yangon revolutionary allies.
Such attacks are aimed at dismantling the military regime’s administrative mechanisms and systems of oppression, with revolutionary forces fighting for the interests of the people. The terrorist military continues to commit brutal acts of torture, unlawful arrests, extortion, and various forms of oppression against civilians, leading to widespread public resistance against their rule. These operations represent the ongoing struggle of the people against the military regime’s oppressive governance and their determination to restore democratic rights and freedoms.
