
Three members of the Pyu Saw Htee militia were killed in an attack that occurred in Kukkoku Village, Pauk Township, Magway Region, as confirmed by officials from the Spring Brotherhood-Guerrilla Force. The incident took place around 2:40 PM on June 2nd, when revolutionary forces ambushed a group of Pyu Saw Htee members who had ventured out to collect mangoes. During the attack, revolutionary forces seized weapons and ammunition from the Pyu Saw Htee members, including one AK-47 rifle and twenty-six rounds of ammunition.
The attacking force encountered approximately six Pyu Saw Htee members, who reportedly returned fire during the engagement. According to revolutionary forces, one female Pyu Saw Htee member was also severely wounded in the clash. The operation was carried out through a joint effort of the Spring Brotherhood Force, BLY People’s Defense Force, and Pauk Township PDF. The revolutionary forces successfully conducted the operation without sustaining any casualties and were able to withdraw safely from the area.
Following the attack, revolutionary forces continue to monitor the security situation in the region and have stated their commitment to maintaining pressure on military council-affiliated armed groups. Local residents have been advised to remain vigilant regarding their security and to cooperate with revolutionary forces’ operations. The incident represents ongoing efforts by resistance forces to combat military council-affiliated groups in the region, with revolutionary forces maintaining their strategic positions while conducting targeted operations against military council supporters.
