The Arakan Army continues to engage in battles with military council forces in various locations as they work to achieve their military objectives. Ongoing battles include final operations to capture remaining positions. The AA is defending against military council offensives along the Rakhine Yoma mountain range, and fighting continues without cessation in areas along the Rakhine-Magway border, Rakhine-Bago border, Rakhine-Ayeyarwady border, and other areas where the AA maintains operational bases. These conflicts have persisted for over one year and nine months with no signs of stopping.
The AA continues to execute their military objectives through coordinated defensive operations, offensives, mobile warfare, and guerrilla tactics, with battles occurring daily or frequently. According to the AA’s announcement, they are pursuing and attacking retreating military council forces, which are suffering significant losses on military, political, and international fronts and withdrawing in disarray from various positions.
