
On July 18, a protest against the military dictatorship was held in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, led by the Northern Yinmabin Villages Strike Committee. During the protest, local residents demonstrated against the military dictatorship, calling for the complete elimination of the military dictatorship system and the establishment of a federal democratic system.
Protesters carried signs supporting the National Unity Government (NUG) and People’s Defense Forces (PDF) while marching. They also held banners and placards opposing the military dictatorship. The participants demanded an end to the military council’s violence against civilians and called for the restoration of democracy.
The Northern Yinmabin Villages Strike Committee has been continuously carrying out anti-military dictatorship activities since the military coup. Local residents have shown their determination to continue fighting in unity until the military dictatorship system is abolished.
