
According to reports from Yangon, a protest march against the military dictatorship was conducted in a village in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, where the Northern Yinmabin Township Villages Strike Column marched together with revolutionary civilians. The strike column, with the participation of local people, demonstrated peacefully to show their opposition to the military dictatorship system. This protest movement was carried out as part of the people’s revolution against the military coup.
The local civilians participating in the strike column expressed their opposition to the oppression, arbitrary arrests and detentions, economic hardships, and human rights violations they are experiencing under the military dictatorship. The people from villages in northern Yinmabin Township have committed to continuing their united struggle for the complete elimination of the military dictatorship system.
