
The terrorist military has conducted an airstrike on Tamakan village in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region. The attack began at approximately 1:11 PM on August 19, when a fighter jet targeted the village located in the southeastern part of Wetlet Township. Although two separate aerial attacks were carried out, no civilian casualties were reported.
Despite there being no active fighting near Tamakan village, the terrorist military targeted the area along Road No. 3. The first attack involved aerial bombing, while the second attack was conducted using machine gun fire. Local residents had already taken shelter in safe locations due to artillery fire from the terrorist military based in Myittha town, which is why there were no casualties from the airstrikes.
Additionally, in Myittha Township, Mandalay Region, the terrorist military forces conducting operations in the area have been systematically burning houses near Kyauk Tatar village. Starting from around 3 PM on August 19, terrorist soldiers began burning homes in and around Kyauk Tatar village. Similar arson attacks were carried out the previous day, marking two consecutive days of destruction. While the exact extent of damage to residential properties remains unknown, local residents have been forced to flee to safer locations. The terrorist military had also burned houses near New Kyauk Tatar village on August 18 around 12:30 PM, continuing their pattern of destroying civilian properties in the area.
