A public awareness session on air defense was conducted in a village in Ayartaw Township, led by the 5/Ayartaw People’s Strike Committee. The session aimed to educate local residents about protective measures against military council airstrikes and artillery attacks. The event focused on sharing crucial information about survival techniques and preventive measures to minimize civilian casualties from aerial bombardments.
During the session, detailed demonstrations were provided on how to construct bomb shelters and implement emergency survival strategies in case of air raids or artillery attacks. The presenters thoroughly explained various aspects of civilian protection, including how to respond when hearing the sound of motorized paragliders and where to seek shelter during artillery attacks. The practical demonstrations were designed to help villagers prepare for and survive potential military attacks from the air.
The organizers also distributed informative pamphlets to the attending civilians. These educational materials contained comprehensive information about constructing bomb shelters, methods for protecting against air raids and artillery attacks, and essential knowledge about motorized paragliders. The pamphlets were designed to serve as reference guides for the villagers to implement protective measures in their communities and help ensure their safety during military attacks.
