According to the PDF’s statement, these individuals were active participants in the military council’s administrative structure and were systematically involved in forced recruitment of local youth for military service and extortion of money from civilians. After the attack, some military equipment and uniforms were seized from them. The PDF has issued a warning that they will continue to take action against those who act as informants for the military council, those attempting to form militia groups, and those serving as pillars of support for the military council.
