A spokesperson from the United States of Burma Army (USBA) confirmed that revolutionary forces have captured an individual with military ties and destroyed military-produced goods in Salay Township, Magway Region on September 20. The incident occurred when revolutionary forces discovered military-produced beer and other products being sold in Tawmon village during their routine inspection. The forces subsequently confiscated and destroyed these military-produced items.
Additionally, on the Salay-Minbu road, revolutionary forces were conducting security checks when they encountered a vehicle that failed to comply with traffic regulations. When the vehicle refused to stop for inspection despite signals to do so, the forces were compelled to open fire and apprehend the vehicle. Upon inspection, they found one military-affiliated individual in the vehicle along with personal belongings including clothes, money, and a mobile phone.
The USBA has issued a warning to residents in the Salay district to completely refrain from trading or distributing products manufactured by the military forces. They have also emphasized the importance of strictly following established traffic regulations while driving. The announcement further stated that they would not take any responsibility for consequences that may arise from failing to comply with these issued guidelines. The revolutionary forces are taking strong action against the trade of military-produced goods as such activities financially support the military forces that commit violence against civilians.
