
The People’s Administration Group of Kanbalu Township has announced that they are providing medical care and health support to captured police families, including a pregnant wife and mothers with children, following the battle at Zeekone Police Station in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region. On September 17th, around 3 PM, revolutionary forces attacked the Zeekone Police Station, resulting in the deaths of 6 personnel including police officers and constables. Additionally, they captured 2 police officers, 2 police constables, 4 police family members, and 3 detainees alive.
During the battle, revolutionary forces seized various weapons from the police force, including 9 G-3 rifles, 1 G-4 rifle, 1 MA-15 rifle, and 1 pistol. The buildings within the police station compound were subsequently burned down. The township health officer and medical team are currently providing necessary medical treatment to injured women and children from police families. Special care is being given to a pregnant woman who requires maternity services, ensuring proper medical attention and support.
