
The terrorist military conducted aerial attacks on villages in Thaung Tha Township, Mandalay Region, on September 13. Beginning at 6:27 AM, a military helicopter from Meiktila Air Base targeted villages in the southeastern part of Thaung Tha Township. During these aerial operations, the helicopter conducted seven separate bombing runs between 6:27 AM and 6:51 AM, dropping a total of 13 bombs, according to local sources.
While no civilian casualties were reported from these attacks, two cattle were injured. Local residents report that due to the military’s daily aerial attacks, they no longer feel safe sleeping in their villages and have been forced to spend nights outside their homes. Additionally, on September 11, another helicopter from Meiktila Air Base bombed the northern part of Yonesi Gyi village, while ground forces conducted a two-day arson campaign, burning homes within the village.
Simultaneously, in Thazi Township of Mandalay Region, the terrorist military has been conducting daily artillery attacks on villages, forcing thousands of civilians to flee to safety. Since August, the military has established a base in Phoe Tha Mine village in Thazi Township and has been continuously shelling surrounding villages for nearly a month. Due to these artillery attacks by the terrorist military, local civilians have been forced to evacuate to safer areas, and are currently facing urgent needs for food supplies, according to a representative from the Central Region Revolutionary Alliance Forces.
