Resistance forces successfully attacked military council positions at the Traditional Medicine Hospital and Kyaphyu roundabout checkpoint in Ye-U town, Sagaing Region, causing significant damage according to Wolf Guerrilla LPDF Ye-U Air Force officials. On September 9 at around 8:30 PM, resistance forces led by Bo Hrup Kyar launched an artillery attack with two heavy weapons on military forces stationed inside the Traditional Medicine Hospital, resulting in damage to metal-plated vehicles within the hospital compound.
About 40 minutes later, they launched another attack with two heavy weapons on the Kyaphyu roundabout entrance checkpoint, causing casualties among military council troops. Although the military council responded by firing three 81mm artillery rounds, the resistance forces were able to withdraw safely without any casualties. While the exact number of military casualties could not be confirmed, resistance officials reported the attacks were effective in hitting their intended targets.
Simultaneously in Kamma town, Magway Region, resistance forces including RED GIANT, Alintan Guerrilla Force, and Garuda Guerrilla Force conducted a joint operation against military council troops who had emerged from the police station on patrol. The resistance forces used drones and small arms in the attack, estimating at least three military council casualties. Resistance leaders emphasized their focus on avoiding civilian casualties during the operation, warning local residents to stay away from the conflict area. The coordinated attacks demonstrate the continuing effectiveness of resistance operations against military council positions across multiple regions.
