
A military column leaving Padae village in Taunggyi Township, Bago Region, was ambushed by revolutionary forces, resulting in 10 military casualties, according to a spokesperson from the Warazein Force. The incident occurred around 12 noon on August 31st, when revolutionary forces intercepted a military column of approximately 150 personnel as they were leaving Padae village where they had established a temporary base. During the engagement, 10 military personnel were killed while the revolutionary forces were able to withdraw successfully without any casualties.
The battle lasted approximately one hour, with revolutionary forces launching their attack from the direction of Kampani village and Padae village. The military forces suffered casualties and were forced to retreat back to Padae village, as detailed by the Warazein Force spokesperson. The operation was a joint effort involving the Warazein Force, Northern Thantaung People’s Defense Fighter Salt Cell Force, Red Scarf Column, and Samankyar Force.
