Starting from August 20, the Chin Defense Force has implemented closures on the Swei Lwei Kyin-Kyin Dway route, the Saw-Kanpetlet route, and all access roads leading from Magway Region into Kanpetlet Township. According to a spokesperson from the Chin National Organization, military forces have been steadily infiltrating Saw town over the past two weeks, with an additional 180 troops recently arriving from the Seitphyu area.
