
Three military council soldiers were killed when revolutionary forces conducted a drone strike while the soldiers were looting supplies from the Nan Htike Taw Win store in Kamma town, Magway Region. The attack occurred around 11 AM on July 27, when resistance forces launched a combined drone bombing and 40mm mortar attack on the military council troops who were forcibly taking supplies from the store, according to a RED GIANT official who confirmed the incident.
Around 2 PM after the attack, revolutionary forces conducted a clearing operation at the Nan Htike Taw Win store, during which they recovered two motorcycles that had been stolen by military council soldiers. These motorcycles were subsequently returned to their rightful owners. The attack resulted in three military council soldiers being killed and approximately five others wounded, while resistance forces were able to withdraw successfully without any casualties, according to a statement released by RED GIANT.
The operation was jointly carried out by RED GIANT in coordination with ABSDF Column 3, YGF Youth Guerrilla Force, PI PDF, Alintan Guerrilla Force (Myaing), TWF, THURAIN TR, and HUNTER PAKOKKU. According to local sources, military council soldiers frequently forcibly requisition supplies from local shops in the area. This incident represents a response by revolutionary forces to the military council’s ongoing oppression of local civilians, according to battle reports. The successful coordinated attack demonstrates the growing capabilities of resistance forces in the region and their commitment to protecting civilian communities from military council aggression.
